Tuition/Fees

An enrollment fee of $350.00 registers your child in our program and is due at the time of enrollment and every March thereafter. You may save a spot on our roster for up to 6 months if you're not sure of a start date for an application fee of $150. All fees are non-refundable.

Annual Supply Fees information:

  • These fees will be billed to your account twice a year in September and February.
  • A total of $210 for our Infant program through to our Young Preschool program
  • A total of $330 for our Preschool and Pre-K program
  • A total of $180 for our After-School program

Tuition is due in advance of services. Tuition is due on or before the 1st of each month. It is considered late at the close of the day on the 3rd of each month and will result in an automatic $50 late fee charge on the account.

A $30.00 fee is charged for returned checks and/or insufficient funds.

A 2.85% convenience fee is added when paying by credit card.

Playground's App & Family Communication Tool

The Children’s Center of Austin uses Playground to support school operations and keep families connected to their child’s care and learning. Through the Playground app, families can view tuition balances and invoices, make payments, manage payment methods, and set up automatic payments. CCOA also uses Playground for daily reports, photos and videos, classroom updates, direct messaging, and school announcements shared through the app, email, or text. Families use Playground to check their children in and out, complete and submit required enrollment documents, and access important student and family information. Families are expected to keep their contact information current, enable notifications, and regularly review messages and updates to stay informed.

Immunizations and Annual Health Records

The Children’s Center of Austin recommends that all children receive age-appropriate vaccinations according to the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) immunization requirements (see attached). We accept valid immunization exemptions and physician-directed delayed immunization schedules when all required documentation is provided and applicable Texas requirements are met.

Immunization records and delayed schedules must be signed or stamped by the child’s physician. Medical exemptions must include a physician-signed statement meeting state requirements. Exemptions for reasons of conscience, including religious beliefs, must be documented using the official DSHS exemption affidavit, completed and notarized. A physician-directed delayed schedule must also be accompanied by any exemption documentation required by the state.

Families are responsible for keeping all immunization records, schedules, and exemption documents current and renewing them according to state requirements. Updated immunization records must be submitted whenever additional vaccinations are received and at least annually. As part of CCOA’s annual health documentation requirements, families must also provide a physician-signed well-child statement confirming that their child is able to participate in care.
