Kat Landtroop, Director
My name is Kat Landtroop. I am a born-and-raised Texan. Originally from The Valley (McAllen, Harlingen), I came to Austin more than 25 years ago and fell in love with the quirkiness of the city! I spent the first 17 years of my professional life working in restaurants and hotels. I’ve done everything from hosting and cooking burgers to managing and event coordinating – and everything in between. I’m a published children’s author and proud crafter! I’m kept on my toes by my husband, who owns and runs a local restaurant, and my amazing 7-year-old son. We joined The Children’s Center of Austin family when we enrolled my son at 10 months old. After a few years of him being here, I was excited when the opportunity arose for me to join the administrative team as an admin assistant. I was immediately enamored by the environment. This was my first time working in an industry that was not restaurant- or hotel-related and I have been falling deeper and deeper in love with CCOA these last four years. I believe this is truly my calling. I moved to our Steiner Ranch location to start my role as director and was transferred back to Westlake in April of 2019. I have an amazing amount of respect for our teachers and the job they do. I love teamwork. I love our families. Most of all, I love our children and watching them grow! They are our future and I’m proud to be a part of their lives.
Corrina Infante, Curriculum Coordinator
My name is Corrina Infante and I have been with The Children’s Center of Austin for four years now! I moved here from San Antonio six years ago to be with Joshua, who is now my husband. I love this city and can't see myself living anywhere else. I have been in the early childhood field since I was 17. I fell in love with teaching and interacting with all kinds of families. I began my journey at CCOA as a teacher and worked my way up to Curriculum Coordinator almost two years ago. I love being able to work with teachers from all kinds of backgrounds and being able to help them grow. In my free time, you can find me and my husband hanging out with our two dogs and family in Wimberley and San Antonio. We love being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and just exploring.
