Ashley DiLorenzo
Head of Schools
Hi, I’m Ashley DiLorenzo, Head of Schools at The Children’s Center of Austin. I began my CCOA journey in January 2010 as a part-time Assistant Teacher and, over the years, have served and taught in all of our preschool programs—growing into roles as Assistant and Lead Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Director, and now Head of Schools. Working across all of our locations has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with our staff, families, and community. I’m also a mom to two boys—Teagan (16) and Reed (11). Both started at CCOA–Jester around four months old, and my youngest still attends. Having experienced CCOA as a teacher, peer, mom, parent, customer, and now as a leader, I’m passionate about investing in our educators so we can continue to nurture young minds.
Early childhood is the foundation for everything that follows—how children learn, relate, and see themselves in the world. Our mission at CCOA is to create a safe, joyful, and inclusive environment where curiosity is sparked, character is built, and each child is known and loved. We partner closely with families and empower teachers with research-informed, play-based practices so children grow in confidence, creativity, and social-emotional skills. My “why” is simple: build a culture where teachers feel empowered, children feel loved, and families feel connected—because I’ve walked the path and believe deeply in the difference we make together.

Hello everyone! My name is Erica Coronado, Director of The Children’s Center of Austin – Northwest. I have had the honor of being a part of The Children’s Center of Austin since 2011. My dream has always been to become a Director, and I am beyond thrilled to be one here at CCOA – Northwest! Early childhood development has always been a passion of mine.
Together with a team of amazing staff, I am committed to providing your family with a loving foundation for a lifetime of learning. In 2011, I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and a major in Family and Child Development. After college, I was hired by The Children’s Center of Austin–Westlake, where I served as a teacher and then became a Curriculum Coordinator.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family! My children, Maizie & Mikey, are my biggest joy!

Jessica Henderson
Curriculum Coordinator
Hi everyone! I’m Jessica, and I am honored to serve as the Curriculum Coordinator at The Children’s Center of Austin-Northwest. I am originally from La Grange, Texas, where I graduated from high school in 2005. That Summer, I worked my first job as a preschool teacher and fell in love. Teaching children that learning was fun became my passion. I moved to Austin in 2006 to get my certificate in medical assisting in hopes of being an EKG technician, but in my heart, I truly missed working with children. When my daughter, Keona, was born, I began teaching at The Children’s Center of Austin. 10 years and 4 daughters later, I am proud to say CCOA is more than a job; it is a family.
Having spent many years in a classroom, I understand the impact that a well-crafted curriculum can have on students. Education should be inspiring, engaging, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners. Through collaboration with our talented leadership team, I strive to create learning experiences that empower children to reach their full potential.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy hiking, crafting, swimming, and spending time with my 4 beautiful daughters and my American bully, Loki.
My grandmother would always tell me, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and here at CCOA, we want to be a part of your village.
